I hope you're having a great week so far -- Friday is just around the corner! :)
Yesterday was just one of those days where multiple cups of coffee was necessary in order for me to function, you know? I try not to drink coffee after lunch, but at around 1:30 it became apparent that more caffeine was necessary:
My afternoon pick me up! Luckily it was enough to perk me up, and I found some energy to head to our small gym at work:
I had a great 5km run, and definitely felt more awake & energetic after I finished -- maybe I should have just skipped the coffee and went straight to the exercise!
The Mr was away overnight for work, so the pup & I were on our own for a Girls' Night In! It kicked off with a little take out for dinner:
Teryaki Stir Fry with chicken + lots of veggies -- yum! Sometimes it's nice to not have to cook & clean up, you know? Definitely a treat!
After dinner it was time for a little pampering! I poured myself a hot cup of tea:
And then did a little relaxing!
A hot bubble bath, a facial, and a DIY pedicure! So nice :)
I also got lost in the vortex that is Pinterest for a while:
And made sure to give Hali some quality snuggles:
So sweet :)
All in all, we had a great evening -- but we'll sure be happy to see the Mr later on today!
