I hope you're all having a great week so far! One of the best things about a holiday Monday is that the next work week is short -- just like that we're halfway through! :)
Well, Mother Nature must have been sad about the long weekend ending, too, because the weather yesterday was dark & dreary:
It rained all day and all night. It was ok with me because I had a gym session on the schedule, and not what would have been a VERY soggy outdoor run:
I did 30 minutes on the elliptical, before switching things up:
And completed a few rounds of my beloved 7 Minute Workout app! It's been quite a while since I've used the app, so it felt good to get back into it! I just love having things like the 7 Minute app at my disposal -- sometimes I don't feel like coming up with a workout routine, so it's nice to have something that does that part for you. And I know that if I push myself, I'm going to get a great workout out of it!
Needless to say, after that great session at the gym, I was starving! By the time we got home, it was time to start prepping dinner:
I made Thai Turkey Burgers, with a huge salad [lettuce, carrots, celery, cucumber, broccoli slaw, and freshly grated parm] on the side -- normally my eyes are bigger than my stomach when it comes to making salads, but this salad beast was just the right size for my hunger :)
And you know that I couldn't finish the day without eating one of these glorious Banana Bread Scones that were staring at me:
So, so good!
